Yesterday was one of the biggest days in Thanet’s recent history as we saw the Turner Contemporary art gallery open in Margate.
Here is the video of the opening ceremony as Chair John Kampfner and Director Victoria Pomery are joined by pupils from Holy Trinity & St John’s school Margate, musician Jools Holland and artist Tracey Emin on Saturday 16th April 2011.
